So I’ve never been to Heaven

I know why it rains outside

Let the sun shine at night

Missed are you somewhere

 As if I am time lapse

Watching as the rose grows and

The spreading of the lips on tulips

Wait I do for your beauty to engulf me

 Your glide is your stance

Dare one take the chance

To be unwelcomed to dance

Perchance their eye be lanced

 For a mere no from you

Could never be true

Though should you every time say, “Yes”

Make it hurt no softer no less

May the keeper of your heart

Have a heart

And know that it was that heart

That gave hope to many a heart

 Oh cherished do I but perish

‘til our eyes meet again

The fire inside that which is denied

Yearns yet forceful than dear friend

 N’er do stand still

Be ravagely taken for a pill

Ingested then you are

And I up there, the bright shining star

. ah, these lines ... these lines are just the most beautiful wish ever ... and i just recited this poem ... it's like a chant ... very powerful ... and yet in the stanza i just quoted ... resides the core of this poem ... for me ... it's where the poem melts ... and the poet is one with the universe ... and everyone who is reading ... and that is rare ... thank you for this ... you add so much more magic to the second anthology with this ... ravishing poetry ...
