Peace from a Pipe

Peace from a Pipe

A Poem by TTBoy28

I rolled

Then rocked

Words gently flowed

Then tossed

Never was lost

Never

Only Present

were the follies

of succulent new fantasies

hidden by cloth

Oh, that damn sloth

Was it from a peace pipe

or from a pipe

that felt like two-by-four?

Still, there

Heightened

Yet enlightened

Knowing intimacy

would rear its ugly head
