Count On Me (Instead of the Days)

Count On Me (Instead of the Days)

A Poem by TTBoy28

You check your book

Maybe, I’ll check mine too

Don’t forget to give me that look

Just when you think you got a clue

I have been there

In case you didn’t know

Even seen my fair shameless share

Before I let my feelings show

You ran

I came

Guess I won’t understand

Who gets to take the blame

As long as it takes you to see

All my loving and caring ways

Count on me

Instead of the days

And if you need love

Something instead of a rub

I’ll dip below and rise above

Like I’m playing battleship in a tub

Parting your mane of hair

I’d do it perfectly

Dreaming of you letting me there

Passionately and secretly

Not shy to show my love for thee

There are just so many new ways

If you’d count on me

instead of the days?
