WhereA Poem by TTBoy28About that DVD We used to play On rainy days at the bay And the player We pushed buttons like the mayor Just to get it to work Like some old jerk Who used to be a clerk Ain’t that a quirk We used to play it like a raid Tear open the carton Beg your pardon Just to get laid Ain’t that a quirk Walking round like a jerk Now I can’t jerk Wish the mayor would get me work About that DVD I used to play Before I misplaced it some way Just for my eyes to see Before I realized you weren’t with me And I would watch it carefully Like I was the Mayor Leaned back in my chair You gave me quite a scare I wish I had asked where Love, you hid it But now, I am forbidden Like some hidden kitten Who has lost his kitten All so smitten It is written On the small box And you used locks To prevent me Viewing that DVD About that DVD It’s just not fair I pull my hair I can’t sit in my chair And show I care Like the Mayor When you’re not there With me Because I cannot ask Because It’s too much of a task Where you put it Before I throw a fit And give myself away Please don’t give me a scare Just tell me where It is And let me be Mayor © 2013 TTBoy28 |
