Lipstick Home-o-GlowA Poem by TTBoy28More faster than a rolling O Always hearing, I told you so Bend over backwards for a chance Eyes light up, he’s ready to prance Waiting on the west wing Side-view on the left a new thing Smile for the camera, “Click!” Return favors and make them sick He’s so well-poised with all his toys A locker room animal with all the boys But who will say with a straight face They prefer leather over lace More guttural than a guttural R It’s wet t-shirt night at the local bar Everyone swings from the same branch Lassoing pigs at a dude ranch Though he wears lipstick in the day At night he can’t wait to wipe it away Delivering sounds of joy in a husky voice That lipstick homo-glow leaves him no choice Pretty is as pretty will do Destruction only needs a chosen few Just be careful what you wish for You could be in store for much more Watch how he rolls his tongue Maybe something has pierced his lung Give the boy a kiss for posterity You’re sure to get your sense of clarity Your tube may be smaller than his Either way, it is what it is Reach for a darker shade Before you reach for the switchblade Call yourself a partner Sunshine’s not used as a hardener © 2013 TTBoy28 |
