Take It Out On Something Else

A Hairdryer blows hot air

a flip of a switch and it is cool

Unplugged

it is just a hairdryer

with no power

Anger plugs a hole that is

 happiness of solemnity

Disconnect brings us back

 to a reality that makes us smile

and revel

and wallow in joy

Stuffing chokes and stifles

our growth

Forcing us to find 

 to let go

To be free

To not let ourselves get

plugged into the outlet

 so our switch can be flipped
