Born at 9:11 on 9/11

Born at 9:11 on 9/11

A Poem by TTBoy28

Though the screaming continued

to silence the flames and pounding of

the earth shattering below

his transition through the white noise

did not welcome the takers of his soul to that

far beyond atmosphere

As he did on this life

he made his own way to

let them know of his painful sorrow

for leaving

Hearing her screams

he had to be

with her near her

and eight months holding on to his seed

it was his umbilical cord that

pulled him back in

to her

Then, at 9:11

he returned to life

Full lungs

full all

Not favoring either parents

There was meaning in his eyes

Even in a different time zone

 the phone call came in
