Like Water in a Tub

Like Water in a Tub

A Poem by TTBoy28

In moderation

to a dribble

the rabbit ears respond to my liking

and fine tune accordingly

As what it releases hits the basin

Never does it matter that it

is contained to make the beads at the

bottom gurgle

or just act as a mirror to the one

awaiting the self-incriminatory baptism

Then like sand in a hour glass

it bids adieu

Like a waterfall

there is an ever-ending flow

What privilege to have it cover

oneself immersed in its shallow magnificence

So as rabbits multiply

the end product is relaxation
