Depression was my lesson

Depression was my lesson

A Poem by TTBoy28

Depression

 was my lesson

I learned after

 my confession

As told behind

 a wall

that's when I

 would fall

A matter of

 the heart

Unable to make

 a new start

Right back where

 I started

Authority left me

 broken-hearted

took advantage

 of my soul

Forever stained

 my T-shirt

accused of

 being a flirt

Dirty dirt

Told by one

 I did nothing wrong

unable to forget

 the song

The angels came

 at the wrong time

Too late to stop

 the crime

Depression now

 describes how

I deal with love

Often I must go back

 and suffer an attack

in the house of the one

 above
