Even Though You're Dead, I Still Hear You In My head

Even Though You're Dead, I Still Hear You In My head

A Poem by TTBoy28

Utter terror during the day

I had to find a way

to get away

At night

too much fright

Often I prayed to see the Light

Telling me things

clanging like rings

like a computer checking with pings

Was I good to be

anything in your eyes

that you could see

Someone had to tell

that I walked like

I was in Hell

As I grew I swore

so what if I became

a w***e

at least I would get

some attention

Oh, and did I fail to mention

I couldn't wait 'til you

 were gone

out of the way

so my life could get on

But everyday

I shutter to say

Even though you're dead,

I still hear you in my head

I want to be free

though if I go, I never will be

If there is a heaven above

I hope there's someone to show me

Love

And protect me from someone

 who

lived to make me blue
