Stubborn Kinda Fellow

Stubborn Kinda Fellow

A Poem by TTBoy28

Long Walks, no

hand in hand dates at the movies

I don't think so

Even sharing a drink

 of soda, I don't think

that would be right

Don't let me be the one

who spoils all your fun

just choose somebody else

'Cause me myself

I'm fine all by myself

Find me feeling mellow

I don't need to wear yellow

I'm just a stubborn kinda fellow

Time has a way

of saying, "It's okay"

Go ahead and be what you wanna be

But if you want me

it won't be easy, you see

Don't try and tie me down

I can walk the line

and be happy if you're mine

I'll take that attitude to town

But if all else fails

don't expect me to kick pails

I'll still say, "Hello"

Let me treat you like you are

even love you from afar

I'm just that stubborn kinda fellow

Look at it

like it's funny

You will always be my honey

Take me

if you shake me,

wake me

let my eyes be opened wide

I may not sit in the park

or hold your hand in the dark

but know I'll always be by your side

I may not like jello

but if it's yours,

I like jello

that's just the way I am

 a stubborn kinda fellow
