That Chica

That Chica

A Poem by TTBoy28

When Chica comes out to roost

 her red dress preceeds her

Hair made into a hat

 banana here and grapes

  hanging

 dangling like an earring

The balancing act she does so well

with three men on one hip

two on another

and Chica works it

The men know what Chica can do

  for them

and they wait

 no choice but to wait

until Chica says, "Chico!"

And it's their turn

to help Chica add more grapes

with her banana

Sashaying as she lets her hair down

 and the men compare bananas

in Chica's absence

only to use her red dress as a muleta

 upon her return

That Chica

 keeps everything high

"...Chico!" Lol You did one of my favorite words great justice here T! Your way of writing is absolutely poetic in any way possible.. Hmm I appreciated this and it (maybe unintentionally) made me laugh :)
