The Ex Factor

The Ex Factor

A Poem by TTBoy28

How were you really feeling

That made you want to leave this earth?

Did you try to reach me?

I would have talked to you

I guess the times we spent together

Wouldn’t have been enough

Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been

My Ex

When I moved on

I thought you had too

And when things got heavy for you

I guess It doesn’t matter now

I just know that they had to sometime

Somehow and for some reason

After a while

I just knew you were doing well

Volatile we were

But one when we were together

Could I have done anything for you?

You took yourself out of this world

Without a goodbye

You must have been in so much pain

Only now

can I talk about you without anyone getting

jealous

"Volatile we were
But one when we were together" ...
Sigh* Well I wouldn't be lying if I aired out my dirty laundry and said that my boyfriend just broke up with me today. Of course a poem about that is imminent! When someone wrongs a singer, they sing so just the same when someone wrongs a writer, it's written! So that is why I was intrigued to read this and this touched me more than I thought it would.
"It could all be so simple but you rather make it hard. Loving you is like a battle and we've opened up scarrs"
Thank you sincerely.
