Cantare

Cantare

A Poem by TTBoy28

Sing song

robust as Pavarotti

make babies while Lanza tenors

Be My Love

feel Puccini as he annoints the

Butterfly into a Madame

flowing through the streets of New Orleans

summoning Carreras and that damn

Placido

glass never broken so sweetly

so gently

yet sharply

Elegant in song

The dapper dropped many a pantaloon

Impregnating a nation

as only the DNA of The Great Caruso has

hidden its lineage off screen

Bellowing for acknowledgement of

impromptu flair

then The Colosseum
