The Real Fame Seekers

The Real Fame Seekers

A Poem by TTBoy28

Not that he stood out

the fact that he stood was enough

no threat

no real issue that could be traced

 back

With him singled out

 it was a safe bet

yet their conscience soured

 as plagairism soiled the pages

one after another

for his name stood out

Not that he stood out

and as they supported a useless cause

pride stood out

 along with their name

 along with repeated transgressions

seeking fame
