Alone for a Day in the Park

Alone for a Day in the Park

A Poem by TTBoy28

Oh Lord

Does it matter where I sit at the park

     to receive your healing rays

Does it matter how closely I listen

to the ripples of the water flow in the pond

Does it even matter if I choose to speak

to anyone walking by during my quiet time

Will you allow me to see you in the cloudless sky

After I ask a question, am I to know it's You

through the rustling of the trees

Can I believe that it is You who is

giving me the peace to be still to enjoy

all the wonders created by You and for

        You

You make me feel that life is worth living

when I am in your garden

And I never want to leave

But I cannot live on beauty alone

This is absolutely beautiful...a prayer that asks some deep questions with complete imagery. I love the ending though. It's just a statement, but I translate it as a petition for a sign. Nice work!
