Hold Me the Right Way

Hold Me the Right Way

A Poem by TTBoy28

If you hold me the right way

I can spin on one foot for you

I can even stare into nothingness while you

twirl me into dizziness

Although I have overly developed muscles

that display every corpuscle of my being

I can still cease movement

at the drop of a white towel

It would probably be to your advantage

to ensure your safety by covering my belongings

for eyes and lips are dire for

complete accuracy should you choose to spin me

Around and around

I will go and have no problem stopping

for if you hold me the right way

I will share my talents with you privately

My leaps as a male are extensive

My plies include squats

All this I can do because I am your puppet

without strings but with direction

I can be your ballerina

as long as you can hold me the right way

and bring music to play and want me to lay

and sway inside a waterfall and its broken levee

But even if you choose not to have me as your ballerina

let me all but dance for you

for around and around I will go

and have no problem hearing you beg me to stop
