Life as a House

 

The life you live

is the life you build

you decorate it with the things you love

maybe pretty things maybe masculine things

but they are your things that make you want to come

home

Let your front yard mirror the inside

for there is much use for insincerity in a world of

emptiness

Consistency is a must

one slip up and The Joneses chit chat

yet they refuse to welcome outsiders into their humble abode

Life as a House

should be built with so much love

until doves will occupy the rooftop as pigeons feed

below

and any illness is combatted with love

and any pain is soothed with love

and the only hunger that exists is that of everlasting love

togetherness and truth

determination and admiration

and the same for the singlehearted

Please build your Life as a House

to be one that is indestructible

until you decide to alter it

leaving the foundation steady

ready

to be occupied by another

when it is right

If you build it

 they will come

But a House should never become a hazard

 by sheltering more than one kind of love

Although love is said to have infinite possibilities

 boundaries are set to strengthen understanding

The House can always be blithe

until you decide to not allow it to be

The life you live

 is the life you build

be it of shame, pride

it is still what you built

But how can one be proud of anything but

Love

and there is only one true kind of Love
