The Unknown Writer

The Unknown Writer

A Poem by TTBoy28

Thank you for coming

I am so glad you came

It's wonderful that you know my name

Don't want to be a bother

Would never be a pest

It's all about sharing what I do best

I tell a tale

I do a little ditty

Every so often there lies some pity

As the truth be told

There lies doubt

Form and matter it's all about

Comfort and Pain

Delusion and fantasy

Words become what we want them to be

They can be here

They can be there

They can just about make you pull your hair

You can choose to believe

Even make yourself deceive

The artist gets the point across

Tossing emotions around

Is sure to be bound

Understanding should not be a loss

When you go out, plan to be on top

Use the gifts given you

It doesn't take much to be a flop

But alot to keep it all like glue

So, thank you for coming

I am so glad you stayed

I know your education has been delayed

I don't claim to know it all

And there's got to be a fall

In this game many will become dismayed
