The Matador

The Matador

A Poem by TTBoy28

The Flamenco is danced

with the greatest of ease by

a savior for his life against the

 snarling and grunting angus

that knows do or die

His stature is so concise

his fruit can be seen from quite a distance

Red is seen by both

 rendering caution yet royalty

Imperative is correct aim for

both as life depends on it

The victor is known

by the number of swords left behind

Appearances may show the victor

celebrating half in part with a Pasa Doble

 and an "Ole!"

They may also show a stampede

that could well impede on one's hip or

 groin with a ring toss

However this game ends

 Red is seen somewhere

reminding us just who is royal

by the roaring fans

They cheer for the commander

 and run when he escapes

This is a great description of what happens between the matador and the bull.
I love the way you continue using the color red.
And the ending is very cute. Who wouldn't run from a mad bull. :)
