I am a child at heart

who needs to be spanked from time to time

Not put over anyone's knee, per say

but reminded that I can't always

have things my way

There are times when I don't agree

rolling my eyes on the telephone

just because I don't want to hear

the reasons for my being alone

When making it with another

I make it all about myself

denying that I have a lover

and putting my feelings on a shelf

Oh the purchases I have added

but this is where I find my joy

poking fun at asses that are overly padded

as my lips are licked when telling a boy

The girls see me as a fashion plate

something they can borrow for a play date

I go along cause I know it's wrong

and refuse to answer when her friend is late

It's so much fun being a child at heart

Yes, I know, someday, I'll have to break my own heart

but today, I'll play

and find a new way

to get what I want a la carte
