The writer within

The writer within

A Poem by TTBoy28

I am hauntingly haunted

by a writer before me

For I do not merely display

MY words

but depictions of another's

A smooth flow is not

how my life carries me

Maybe that is the medium

I was chosen to be

Not for applause or adoration

I live to tell the tale

of one who walks only in

spirit

For me to bring the soul

into print

I often lose who I am

hating and loving

a life and times I'm not

really sure I know

Rendering my name to

scrutiny

Good, bad, or ugly
