A Prayer for Time

A Prayer for Time

A Poem by TTBoy28

Faithful creator hear my prayer

let me know just how you care

I wish I might I wish I may

Have this wish I wish today

Give me time to have it all

Always be there if I fall

Love me true for evermore

as I walk through your abundant store

and when it's time for me to bow

May I feel peace beneath my brow

So much to feel in such little time

Such is life that it should rhyme

The names you are called may be rude

They do not mask my gratitude

What I ask you may not give

Only You grant the power to live

 - Amen

The care of God? ... imply to trial every way of life justly, even the way of love He commends to all [hence 'baptism of fire'] ... life a mere 'kindergarten' compared to timeless being ... the implication being that there is little point in prying for what God knows will not serve to increase one' lovingness for others... :)
