If I should die before I wake...

If I should die before I wake...

A Poem by TTBoy28

If I should die before I wake...

I pray to Buddha my soul to take

I enjoy the vocal sounds

of my sisters resonating of their lives

 Or lack thereof

I await the next time I walk

my little girl because it gives her

such joy to meet new people

If I should die before I wake...

I want to be ready without the need

 to be Fearless

The aroma from the coffee pot

 is the best morning aphrodisiac

Stalled by the next walk session

The Catch-22 of holding or releasing

because of the last whet dream

 Would lose the war

If I should die before I wake...

I pray that bad dreams keep me awake

The dreams seem so real that I

tell myself I can manipulate anything

 and everything

And then

I feel the power I have

But forgot to not set the alarm
