A MistakeA Poem by T.S. UlmusA call for Justice reform
Your honor,
There must have been some mistake, they was alive when I buried 'em in the meadow near the lake. So there's no need to condemn just for a crazy sense of law. Sure, I bound 'em and covered 'em up, (Maybe did some work with my chainsaw), and I still have some blood in a cup, but they were livin' I swear. I ate a few bits with spicy ketchup, I just don't see why you should care or try to say it is my fault when clearly I am not to blame. One spit at me and that's assault. No one can refute my claim they was breathing when I tossed the dirt. Let's quit this hoax for goodness sake, maybe they was slightly hurt, but clearly these charges are a mistake. © 2021 T.S.
