I love you like

I love you like

A Poem by T.S. Ulmus
"

It's a love poem, she's my muse

"

I love you like a constant thunder

that echoes from the distance

or the earthy smell of ground fresh turned

I love you like the sound of leaves

which crunches under wooded stroll

or the purple cloud at sunset

I love you like the f*****g bee

that stung me in the ear

or maybe like an awesome sneeze

I love you like breaking glass

in an alley with a bat

or the feel of freshly laundered sheets

I love you like warm pork roast

that falls to pieces with my fork

or popping lots of bubble wrap

maybe I just love you

like I love you and I love you

because I love you

This is so sappy and sweet, to be in a relationship like this or in a relationship with a person like this must be pure bliss, I mean, I guess only if the person was equally clingy and sappy, I giggled with this line,
"I love you like the f*****g bee
that stung me in the ear"
This is a good one, Ts, :) but of course, I expect nothing but good, odd, and super weird from you 😆
I loved this love poem!!! It was simply divine. I wish I could get me a man like this! Lol.

dearest T.S. Your poem is a Keeper.. and a Weeper. Reminds me of a Rainbow’s glow after a Summer rain when it stretches across the sky with no end in sight to left or right... a Sign that Love has no end.. only new storms to gather in Lavender scented nights. tenderly, Pat

Who can define love? It means something different to each one of us. You know that bubble wrap, I love poppiing that too. So satisfying don:t you think? I enjoyed this poem very much, it made me ponder on my own definition of what love is. It's always the little things.

Gee
I kinda agree with Jacob. I love my wife of 27 years to bits but trying to put my feelings for her down in words I find nigh on impossible.
Enjoyed the read TSU

Probably the most romantic piece I've read in awhile. "I love you like breaking glass
in an alley with a bat." Yes , I need this type of love.

I think the last lines of this say it all. The truth is if we love, really love, we can't really define why...it just is what it is...
like that wonderful pork roast....mmm, reading made me hungry.
