Nothing

Nothing

A Poem by The unthinkable
"

Two people who like each other but have been hiding it

"
A big gleaming smile is on my face
that can not be replaced
my cheeks are red and warm as you smile too
butterflies are in my stomach  do you feel them too
it must be the schools lunch food
a stupid lie i tell to hide the truth
the clock is always ticking but with you time stands still
you make the day never ending
nothing to sweat with you
as we hang out on the park bench
you're looking kind of blue
a hard shade to be
is it me who makes you feel blue
oh please say it's not true
a fake smirk makes the butterflies stop fluttering
and makes them die as blue escapes your eyes
i don't know what to do
so i comfort and ask
my friend whats wrong
but all you reply is nothing, nothing at all
but is that nothing really something after all
is it me
perhaps i will never know
but for what it's worth
your my nothing
that makes blue escape my eyes
for I'm in love with you
