STRANGE CASE OF THE KEYS

STRANGE CASE OF THE KEYS

STRANGE CASE OF THE KEYS

I walked on the elevator

Didn't see an alligator

Some keys lodged in the hole

Hope nobody stole

Kinda took me off guard

Right off the boulevard

Was beginning to think

I might need a shrink

Plenty of seconds to spare

Lucky I didn't glare

Someone had a set lost

Maybe there wasn't much cost

I pressed the button for my floor

It was all cued up and more

We live in the strangest of days

Weird stuff comes in many ways

Never know what you'll see next

Perhaps driving without a text

That would be one heck of a sight

For many a comfortable delight
