Aurs Nautical

Aurs Nautical

A Poem by John Tracey
"

Written in iambic pentameter

"
Let me be the muse of the furthest
Light that drops from your sight.
Let me be unwilling to explain
And to never call back to say
Goodbye or goodnight, I am so far
From the night we met that it
never felt right, like a
watchman on the beat.
I combed through every street until
I had become well acquainted with the
night never hoping for another hour
Of daylight, that felt right.

The aura and mystery of this offering intrigues and captivates in equal measure. Speaking for myself as a browser I find myself somehow immersed out of sight in the half light semblance, with it's melancholic undertone. Inspiring on so many levels.
