Lemons

Lemons

A Poem by Alvin L. Kathembe
"

"When life gives you lemons, you grit your teeth, and suck." -A.L.K

"

Life gave you lemons?

Well, I was next in line

He went into the back

Rummaged among some boxes

Groped around in some drawers

Came back shaking his head -

“Sorry kid, outta lemons

All we got left is Misery.”
