I sabotage myself when I worry, when I fret

I have cowered when I met with failure’s toothless threat

Sometimes, I forget that I’m a Pharaoh in the flesh

 

Today, nobody hears - my voice is tiny and shrill

Today, nobody shares the confidence in my quill

Today, nobody cares, but tomorrow they will

 

Not even Apollo’s fury can stop me from climbing

Not even your vibe-assassins can stop me from thriving

Not even Poseidon’s trident can stop me from diving
