Purge

Purge

A Poem by Alvin L. Kathembe
"

A love poem.

"

I dreamed forgotten dreams last night;

I dreamed of you again.

My lips moved in my deepest dream

And formed around your name.

Before, I sighed with longing, but

This time was not the same -

It was a healing surge as my system purged

A poison from my veins.

And that is a very good feeling when you can purge the poison. I relate very much so, for I did some heavy duty purging in my life also. I liked this, it had a positive take to it.
