B******s

B******s

A Poem by Alvin L. Kathembe

How can you describe to the blind
The beauty of the seasons?
Can you teach a boy who had no dad
How to grow up and be one?

How can you teach the fatherless
Things only a father could?
What map will the b*****d use
To navigate through fatherhood?

We survive against all odds
Warriors surmounting all barriers -
You can hate us or you can love us;
Our very conception
Survived interception
We’re the spawn of broken rubbers…

I feel on this one. One brother to another.
