You've Got A Friend

Standing up for a friend is a way of giving them support when they are being criticized, teased or taken advantage of.

Whenever obstacles and hardships arise

And like a flickering fire, your hope slowly dies

Never give up, I will be here by your side

Ready to comfort you with arms opened wide.

 

When the world is turning its back against you

And you feel helpless, not knowing what to do

Don’t be sad, don’t let them bring you down

I’ll put a smile on your face every time you’ll frown.

 

If you feel inside your heart unbearable pain

Because every effort you make is in vain

Don’t hesitate to call me amidst your suffering

Because I’ll be there to ease the pain you’re bearing.

 

Whenever giving up becomes your only option

Because in your problems you can’t find the right solution

I will always stand beside you until the end

Through sunshine and rain, you’ve got a friend.
