Unspoken Love

Unspoken Love

A Poem by tk
"

have you ever felt.... saying everything that you've wanted to say a long time ago.. but you can't just find the right words??

"
She has misty mole eyes
Her smile captivates everyone
She could be on magazine's cover
A face of perfection, every man's dream.

It's no wonder you like her
She's so kind, so cool to be with
You stare at her with adoration
When she laughs, you can't help but smile.

But...don't you notice?
While you're dying to be with her
I'm here, waiting for my chance
To talk to you
To get your attention.

I know that I'm just a friend
But it's just so hard
For my feelings to be a secret
But for Friendship's sake
I have to.

I can't change this reality
I can't make you love me
Now all that I can do is to mourn
For my impossible chance,
For your desperate affection,
For my unspoken love....

This is a simple release of your hidden feelings. That's good. This is done last 2011. I hope all is well now. Keep going. :)

Aw…That’s really heartbreaking…It made me remember the quote I saw the other day, “Should I smile because he’s my friend? Or cry because that’s all he is?” It’s hard liking a friend because no matter what happens, you always have to choose between love and friendship…You’ve penned wonderful and deep emotions on this piece…Well done! :)))

I completely understand what you're saying here. I'm in a similar position right now, just not as severe. It's so terrible when you love someone and they don't love you back. And especially when it's a friend and you fear that you'll ruin the friendship if you tell them. That has happened to me before, I'll be honest. But him not being friends with me anymore because of that shows that perhaps he was never really a true friend. Or else he just didn't know what else to do. I can understand where it'd be awkward, but I think that if they really want to keep being friends with you, they'll tell you kindly they don't feel the same but that they still want to be friends. That's how I wish things would go; obviously they rarely do. I've only seen it happen once. Well, anyways, I'm ranting. Sorry about that. You did a really great job on this. I liked it a lot. You didn't sugarcoat it, you just left it at simple truth; which is good. I hope that someday soon, he'll realize you've just been waiting and waiting for a chance to talk to him and have his attention. I'm sure you deserve it. :) Great write!
