The Moment I Knew

With this night as the sole witness

To my feelings I cannot anymore suppress

A classic masterpiece written in my diary

This captivating moment eternally in my memory. 

 

 

A secret is lying behind your smiles and glances

I become moonstruck with your arresting caress

This emotion is nascent, enveloping every part of me

A spellbound fantasy finally turning into reality.

 

 

I am much enthralled with the serenity in the air

The mist finally eroding with your every longing stare

My heart is nostalgic for your enticing presence

This surreal moment making me forget my very existence.

 

 

Finally our emotions intertwine as we got closer

Our lips met, after an indefinite time that seemed forever

I melted from the yearning of this temporary bliss

It is infallible: This is love from the first kiss.

After a year, I finally posted a poem here. :) I've written this last summer, but never got to finish it. It's just because of a special thing that made me look back to this piece's draft and think of a perfect ending. Hope you like it. :))))
