In the Valley

In the Valley

A Poem by Tiffany K Charles

                                                                       Down in the valley

Down in the valley where my soul shall lay
Among the whispers of the winds that sway,
The river flows, a gentle sigh,
Underneath the endless sky.

The earth embraces, cool and deep,
A promise kept, a dream asleep.
The stars above, they softly gleam,
Lighting paths within a dream.

In the quiet, I find my rest,
The valley's heart beats in my chest.
Where shadows dance, and echoes play,
Down in the valley, I shall lay.

I liked the flow of thoughts and the ending. I agree. One day, we will rejoin the earth. Powerful and worthwhile words and thoughts shared. Thank you dear Tiffany for sharing the amazing poetry.
