Wish

Wish

A Poem by Tiffany K Charles

Do you think that you can walk in my shoes? Could you have overcome the things that I've been through? As you sit there and judge me, do you think you could have been me? You say that your life was hard, but from your life, how many have been scared? Why do you continue to put me down? Do you wish upon my face to see a frown? You must think I am weak. But must I prove to you that I am strong? You ask me if I'm confused, but I have a feeling that you think I feel used. As you sit there trying to think, how dare you walk around like your s**t doesn't stink!! Do you think I will amount to nothing? Because if that's the case, I will be something. I feel sorry for you, for you have an undeveloped mind. But continue to wait and see in due time. As you sit and your mind ponders, your thoughts run wild with wonder. I shall ease your mind all in due time. Are you jealous of me? Am I the one person you wish to be? Every time I see you, your soul is dying. And so many times I asked you, why are you crying? As I sit here and write this, it must end. And this I shall ask again...... Do you think you have walked in my shoes??????

You are right dear Tiffany.
"And so many times I asked you, why are you crying? As I sit here and write this, it must come to an end. And this I shall ask again...... Do you think you have walked in my shoes??????"
The above lines needs to be asked sometimes. If you lived my life. Would you done better? I liked the thoughts leading to strong ending. Thank you Tiffany for sharing the excellent poetry.
