Take Me.....................

Take me away from this sleepless night of endless slumber.

Take me away from the scars and wounds that time has left behind.

Take me away from the hurt and pain that life has yet to place in my heart.

Take me away from the emotional wreck that is known to be me.

Take me to a place where love has no reason.

Take me to a place where sleep comes easy.

Take me to a place where my scars can heal, and my wounds disappear.

Take me to a place where love is an oasis that never runs over nor ever runs out.

Oh My Gosh! This is so awesome!
Quite a heart-wrenching poem that tells about angst. I can tell just how inspired you are in writing this one. You know, it's not easy to write about love when one hasn't experienced one. And not easy for a person who cannot vividly capture the pains of it. Great poem! :) Keep writing!

Wow, Tiffany. You sound like you're in pain and it is wholly conveyed through the verses you wrote. I could feel my heart wrench while reading. You've done a beautiful job on writing this.
