Moments End

Time slips by and the days drag on
But today is too important to let go
Today is the day this ends
The happiness slips from my grasp

And it all falls apart in front of 
my eyes. Simple things fallen apart
Easy memories cave in and trap me
in a moments end

In a moments end everything falls apart. Nothing seems right
Not even friends seem real anymore
No one to be trusted or believed

One, but only one appears out of the gray to give me the comfort I need
Our worlds both fall apart at a moments end and we're in it together

Friends hurt worse than enemies
That's why we try to keep them close
But it always fails in the end
And we find ourselves lost in time

Not everything is meant to be
If it's not meant to be there must 
Be something better around the corner
And at a moments end everything can
Be fixed and put back together by God's merciful hands
