Wifely DutiesA Poem by TitaniumStarWhat does it mean to me to be a wife? Well, let me tell you in this short poem.“Wifely Duties” The wifely duties never fade I clean, I cook, I make good company I cuddle, I commit, I make good conversation When my other half is weary and dragging I perk him right up I have come to learn that pizza and kiddie cocktails Are just the right stuff When my other half has fallen ill or feverish I know just what to do I run in circles panicking And call my mother cause I’m also know what I don’t know too When my other half is happy and excited I feel his energy well up inside of me I cheer him on and encourage things he likes And he does it for me as well My other half is my best friend and I’m lucky to have him as my husband I also know that he’s just as lucky To have a wife like me who loves him The wifely duties never fade I Cherish, I Comfort , I inspire creativity I Care, I Caress, I help forge courageousness And these are my wifely duties. © 2023 TitaniumStarAuthor's Note
