Beautifully Alone

Beautifully Alone

A Poem by GummyBear
"

wrote this because i feel strongly aginst bullying- hope you like it and can see what i see- theres two parts: one physical bullying and the other verbal

"

Beautiful once, now no more.
They pained her life, and what for
Bruises lay upon her face.
Her life to fast, like a race.

She was brave, she showed no pain.
But at night, tears flowed like rain.
No coldness was, but she shook.
No one saw, no one would look.

They left her, gasping for breath.
Then at this time, was her death.
You have no heart, not one at all.
You could only have a blackened soul.

Alone he walks, away from his hell.
Those words they spoke still ringing like a bell.
No one has heard his cries at night.
Deeply wishing that it won’t come back to day light.

But the nights always end.
And the days always begin again.
Him hearing the words that pierce his heart.
Asking in his head ‘why did this start?’.

No saviour has appeared to rescue his soul.
Him thinking ‘maybe I shouldn’t exist at all’.
He looks to the stars, trying to find something.
But no sign appears, among the stars still nothing.

This is a very touching poem especially at the moment. I recently read an article where a 10 year old girl committed suicide by hanging her self in the closet with a scarf over bullying. People do not realize the severity of bullying these days. It used to be once you left school you had peace at home. That is not the case anymore. It surrounds them all the time.

I love this poem. My big brother is always bullied, and I have to get my cape and stuff and its Alliebear to the Rescue! I see him cryen alot and he cuts, which pisses me off. I wish people would realize that God made us all unique so we would have variety in the World and so we could learn how to love pple in many diffrent ways. I have friends that are bullied all the time, and I have lost friends in suicide to it. I love this. Real coolness isnt about the outside its about the inside, Try seeing a person for who they are instead of What they appear to be!

No one has heard his cries at night.
Deeply wishing that it won’t come back to day light.
But the nights always end.

A note to all being bullied, I hear your cries, and your loved!!!!
Awesome poem!!!!

I loved 7th grade, until a couple of bullies made it hell for me. Ruined what would have been the funnest school year of my life. It never changes. There will always be bullies. Too bad.

Aye, this evokes painful memories of middle school and a year or so after that.
