The Street

A short poem.

"
No destination self-approved
Graciously consoled by the dark of the sky

The music of steady rain,
Mutes the noise of his emotion

A single glow in the black
Silenced by the clouds which reign below

Fresh bruises shown only by streetlights
That ruin the sight, of the boy in the night

I think it's well written and gets it's point across.
The streets are a hard life for a young person driven from home
for whatever reason. Thank you for sharing

aah really loved this one. The flow was absolute and easy going. Great way to get serious points across. It was also vague without giving too much detail. Very, very nice piece here c:
