I'M GONE BY T. PINA

I'M GONE BY T. PINA

A Poem by PENS FOR PEACE /TJ CALIFORNIA
"

A REALEATIONSHIP SPAWN IN HELL IS FINALLY OVER!

"

I’m Gone

We will never find forgiveness
in this house that we sometimes share
we emptied out our souls and pockets
on whatever that was there
Sad to say

there was never any real love here and no one really cared
what's done is done
Now that our home is completely bare
after today I hope you realize,

I’m gone

Blessings sometimes have thorns, and misery loves company
we can never repair the mess that we have made

since we can’t use our hands to hide the sun

It’s dam clear our life reeks of all the wrongs we have done

After today, you gotta know,

I’m gone

I've spent too many years at war with myself
my psychologist told me all this bullshit is just not good for my health
If I'm going to live in misery in this life
then I rather do it by myself and with out all this dam fuc#ing strife!

It's over,

I’m gone

First of all I love the whole flow of this piece...smooth;
and the feel of frustration and determination is so vivid
that the reader can feel it...really like that!

Lastly I quoted the 2 lines below because they are poignant
and give so much impact to this piece...just awesome lines!

"Blessings sometimes have thorns,"
"And we can't use our hands to hide the sun"
Awesome lines!

Sorry for the delay.

It is a strong piece, well chosen words indeed (poetry is not about roses being red and violets being blue, but the core freedom of saying what we want and letting others learn or relate) you have done a very good job in putting together the emotional frustration certain relationships go through.

A wonderful piece.

Strong words!!! Miserable is a shocking way to live your life...there is not much more I can say about this, you have said a mouthful and I can relate.
Dam...Damn...

This is a great write. Your words flowed well across the page and expressed the final feelings of a love that just isn't working any more. I can relate to this fully, someone is always getting the short end of the stick.

Nice work.

Very nice .... i hope this was successful in helping you purge the misery. This poem flows very well. The intensity was felt on the tip of my tougne with every work. The first stanza is a perfect opener. I really like this line ... "we emptied out our souls and pockets." I feel like how empty you are. I really like this line ... "Blessings sometimes have thorns, and misery loves company." how you started with your own line and then magnafied it with a common saying. For me that makes it very vivid in my mind. Great JOB!!!

This poem flows smoothly, but I see a lot of regret, suggesting the relationship had no redeeming value.

"Blessings sometimes have thorns"
I take this to mean that the relationship on some level was a blessing that hit a rough point. If you didn't view it as a blessing, would you have made it to the point where a major split was necessary? The ones who can hurt me the most are the ones whom I've allowed to get close to me.

"It's dam clear our life reeks of all the wrongs we have done"
Interesting slip, to mention one life for the two of you.

Ahhh,
I can feel the lament emanating from both your soul and this poem.
It seems like most of my stories, which is based from the genres romantic tragedy with sometimes appiled the concepts of temptation having its way with my characters. Abd sometimes, I can feel their emotions through my writing, whether I am writing original writing or a fanfiction. This is a poem that I like most about - the sadness... so genius... I look forward to reading more of your works.
