WHY WARS????

WHY WARS????

A Poem by Anannya Saraswat
"

This poetry is about the war scene..... the tragedies nd trauma that war brings with itself. Also the final para. has the encouragement for people to try nd stop wars with their little efforts.

"
This is mine and that is yours
This feeling has led to many wars
Blood shed roads and burnt homes
Terror shrieks and death romes

What more a war can bring with it
Sorrow and fear, thats all,we have lift...

Mothers cry and infants die
Blood spread in the sky
But they dont't care, they just fight
They win less but bring more plight

What more a war can bring with it
Tears and trauma that's all, we have to lift....

War comes and war goes
What never goes are its woes
Let's be together to stop these wars
Lets be tigers and begin our roars
Give voice to the spark lit in
Courage and strength must shout within

No more yours and mine.... its Our
This feeling must spread wide and far
Lets start it today, today and now
Don't ask when where and how

What more this beginning can bring with it
No more wars......and life to be fine and fit.

Well said, dear poet.

A wise voice once said: "When you cannot understand the reason why...follow the money".
I keep those words in mind and apply them to everything from war and politics to advertising and fashion.

Keep being a small strong voice in the wind, dear poet.
