Color of a RavenA Poem by Another Relic
Stress encircled her eyes and head.
~ When any hope was hopeless and light-years away, she opened her dresser drawer. ~ Beneath pharmacy referrals and credit card bills, its black metal trigger resembled the color of a raven. ~ At the speed of light and with enough energy to shoot across the expanse of space, it made her weightless�" a heavenly body. ~ Her universe transformed as skull fragments exploded like stardust escaping a black hole.
