In My ArmsA Poem by THWebbIn My Arms
Off in the distance the thunder rumbles, softly rolling across the canyons...
The resonant tones coming ever closer, with the sweet smell of rain in the wind...
The air is charged with electricity, I could feel her energy coursing through my frame as the intensely silver-bluewhite dances magnificently on the charcoal welkin.
The breeze stroking, teasing playfully, the grass and trees.
Gently she would kiss, caress the move away....
I sat in awe of the splendrous display, my thoughts began to drift of you...
as the zephyr lightly trails along my face, the nape of my neck, fingers lovingly toying with my hair.
I wondered if your touch would be like this, would shivers play up and down my spine, my legs and knees grow weak from sheer desire.
Would your lips electrify my soul like the lightening in the sky, flirting with my sensations, carrying me to ecstasy....
The smooth timbre of your voice excites me more than I dare reveal. Conversations and fatasies are all I have to keep me safe and warm, and dreams of one day holding you in my arms...
