Beauty Everlasting

Beauty Everlasting

A Poem by THWebb
"

A poem about the fears we have of how much we should reveal in a new relationship.

"

Beauty Everlasting

To reveal my past...

or should I not?

To my lover...

or would it matter?

Is it not my past...

that makes me who I am?

If this is so...

what should I fear?

Come close, my love...

let me share my pain...

I will cry the tears.

The past is laid to rest.

My life ahead to come...

blooms like roses in a garden.

Midst the perils of the thorns....

beauty everlasting....

Many can't deal with helping heal another's pain and it somehow becomes all about themself. Victims get blamed and hurts are rubbed raw and made beyond a mere personal. Yet if you don't reach beyond the hurt the other won't understand reluctance or tears or turning away... the shivering in fear, nightmares... anger... hurtfulness... so many things of which to be aware.

Oh Wow!! This is Breathtaking!...Absolutely beautiful.
"I will cry the tears.
The past is laid to rest.
My life ahead to come...
blooms like roses in a garden.
Midst the perils of the thorns"...
