Shadow and Light

Shadow and Light

A Poem by Aurora Dawn

Wishing you could wake up from this terrible, terrible dream.
All this frusteration just makes you want to scream.
You do your best to suppress everything you feel.
Trying to learn how to heal.
You sprint after your dreams, The world becomes dark.
Wherever you go, you leave your mark.
Walls slam shut around you, like a mad laughter.
You don't know what to do, your heart beats faster.
     You don't have a clue.
     They're mocking you.
     Then comes the tears.
You keep running from all your fears.
You've got to win this fight.
Shadow will be swallowed by light.

Light over darkness, good over evil; Poems I like the most.

Good poem.

Wonderful piece.
Speaks of inspiring one to win in a fight.
Lovely line:
"Shadow will be swallowed by light."
