A Monsters BiteA Poem by Aurora DawnJust a little something for halloween.
Good night,
Sleep tight, Don't let the monsters bite. Watch your heart and watch your head as they fill up with fright. Hiding in your closet, right behind the door. You start to panic, you can't take anymore. The darkness over-runs your mind. The light switch you just can't seem to find. Monsters and demons under your bed. The darkness is really getting to your head. You run in circles screaming for help. Nobody seems to care, or listen to your yelp. Growling is coming from right under the floor. You start to panic you can't take it anymore. Ghosts and goblins chasing you around. Running to the door you start to pound. Mice and spiders crawling through the wall. You're getting so scared you just may fall. Running around, searching for that light. Trying to take away all of your fright. Flip the switch the light comes on. You look at the time, it's creeping up on dawn. Letting out a breath you open up the door. Your minds your worst fear, almost couldn't take it any more. Good night, Sleep tight, Don't let the monsters bite. Whatch your heart and watch your head as they fill up with fright. © 2012 Aurora DawnReviews
